About ClearPix
ClearPix is a free collection of image tools for everyday jobs: making a small photo bigger, cutting a subject out of its background, switching between image formats and turning a logo into a scalable vector. The tools work in any modern browser on a computer or phone, with no account and no watermark.
How the tools work
Most online image tools upload your file to a server, process it there and send it back. ClearPix works differently: the processing happens inside your own browser. The AI models are downloaded to your device the first time you use them, and your images are read and processed locally. They are never uploaded to our servers.
This keeps your photos private, avoids waiting in a queue and means there are no daily limits. The trade-off is that speed depends on your device, so a large image may take a little longer on an older phone.
What you can do here
- AI Image Upscaler: enlarge photos 2x, 4x or 8x with an ESRGAN neural network, with denoise and colour boost controls.
- Background Remover: cut out people, products and pets with an AI segmentation model and download a transparent PNG.
- Format Converter: convert between JPG, PNG and WebP with quality and fill-colour controls.
- Image to SVG: trace logos, icons and illustrations into editable vector graphics.
Each tool page explains when to use it, which settings to start with and what its limits are, so you can get a good result on the first try.
Who runs the site
ClearPix is an independent website, built to offer simple image tools that respect people's privacy. The AI features use openly published models: ESRGAN for upscaling and a U²-Net based segmentation model for background removal.
How the site is funded
The tools are free to use. Running and improving the site is paid for by advertising and by optional tips from visitors. Ads never change how your images are processed, and your images are never shared with advertisers. You can read how advertising and cookies work on this site in our Privacy Policy.
